It was a pleasure for the Nanopower team to attend SIDO Lyon alongside Rutronik France, meeting engineers and technology leaders working on the next generation of connected products.
A key focus for us was introducing the nPZero platform and discussing a fundamental challenge in sensor-based systems: how can we extend battery life without compromising functionality?
The nPZero G1S takes a different approach to ultra-low-power design. It can operate sensors autonomously, manage I²C/SPI communication and selectively power the MCU and peripherals only when needed—allowing the MCU to remain off for longer periods.
With 100 nA idle current, 1 µA polling current and support for up to four sensors, nPZero provides engineers with a practical way to rethink system power consumption.
Our nPZero Development Kit also gives engineers a hands-on way to evaluate the technology, with an STM32 host, temperature and motion sensors, example software and the nPZero Configurator for simplifying system configuration.
