Finally, Nanopower is present in the US. Edward Thompson has joined the Nanopower team as a Business Development Executive.  His ability to develop and execute business strategies along with building collaborative partnerships of mutual benefit, makes him a perfect addition to our team.

### **Silicon Valley presence**

The US is a key market for electronics and wireless devices, and with Ed, we finally have the physical presence. He is located in Silicon Valley but will cover North America as his area of responsibility. His extensive background and skills will also have an important contribution to the business development in other regions, helping shape our strategy and execution.

Ed is a champion of collaboration and partnerships for mutual benefit. This is exactly the kind of approach that Nanopower believes in. Ed is already a key contributor to how we shape partnerships and take them to the next level. These partnerships will be crucial for us to reach our targets and make our customers succeed.

 

### **The right experience**

Ed arrived at Nanopower with three decades of industry experience and a track record of building long-lasting partnerships and growth. He has held key positions at some of the most renowned companies in the technology sector. 

**Nowi:** Led efforts in business development for a PMIC for energy harvesting technologies, focusing on applications in IoT, wearables, and consumer electronics.

**Nokia:** Business development for smart TVs, media adapters, and other consumer electronics, helping to expand Nokia’s presence in these markets.

**Qualcomm:** Business development for advanced technologies, including cloud-based VR gaming platforms and 3D audio technologies.

**Technicolor:** Business development for cutting-edge display technologies, leading to successful collaborations with major global brands.

**PixelDisplay:** Display and LED technology startups, focusing on strategic development and commercialization strategies for next-generation display technologies.
