Nanopower welcomes Fred Buonaiuto as Director of Sales, Americas
We are delighted to announce that Fred Buonaiuto has joined Nanopower Semiconductor as Director of Sales, Americas, effective today, March 16, 2026. Fred will work with our manufacturers’ representatives and channel partners across the U.S., Canada, and South America to bring the benefits of nPZero to customers developing ultra-low-power, battery-powered, and energy-harvesting products.
Nanopower’s published materials describe nPZero as a power-saving IC that can manage sensors autonomously, support up to four peripherals, communicate over I2C and SPI, and wake the host MCU only when needed.
Fred brings extensive semiconductor industry experience, including long-standing sales leadership at Renesas Electronics, earlier leadership at Hitachi Semiconductor, and an engineering foundation from IBM. We are excited to have him help expand Nanopower’s reach across the Americas and strengthen engagement with customers, rep firms, and channel partners.
