Designing ultra-low-power embedded systems requires accurate documentation, reliable software, and up-to-date technical information. That's why Nanopower has expanded the resources available on the Nanopower DevPortal, making it easier than ever to evaluate, integrate and design with the nPZero G1S power-saving IC. (PSIC)

The latest DevPortal updates include:

  • Updated APIs for faster firmware integration and simplified device configuration.
  • Revised Datasheets with enhanced electrical specifications, operating conditions, register descriptions, application diagrams and ordering information.
  • Latest Errata providing transparent documentation of known issues, recommended workarounds and implementation guidance.
  • Additional documentation, example code, development tools and application resources to support your design from evaluation through to production.

Together, these updates help engineers reduce development time, minimise integration risk and accelerate design-in.

The nPZero G1S autonomously manages up to four I²C or SPI sensors while allowing the host MCU to remain completely powered down until needed. With 100 nA idle current and 1 µA polling current, nPZero enables dramatic reductions in system power consumption for battery-powered and energy-harvesting applications.
