The first quarter of 2025 has been a milestone for Nanopower Semiconductor. With back-to-back exhibitions at **MWC Barcelona** and **Embedded World Nuremberg**, we’ve had the privilege of engaging with innovators, engineers, and decision-makers who share our mission: to enable smarter, more energy-efficient devices with radically low power consumption.

## MWC Barcelona: Power Efficiency in the Mobile & IoT Spotlight

At **Mobile World Congress**, the global stage for connectivity and mobile innovation, our message was clear: **ultra-low power is no longer optional—it’s essential!**

We showcased our **nPZero power-saving IC** at the European Pavilion, and drew strong interest.

The feedback confirmed what we’re hearing across industries: developers are actively seeking ways to reduce battery dependency, extend device lifetime, and move toward maintenance-free sustainable deployments.

## Embedded World Nuremberg: Where Engineering Gets Practical

One week later, at **Embedded World**, the focus shifted to the core embedded community—engineers, developers, and system architects diving deep into solutions and specs.

In Hall 4, Booth 4-460, we demonstrated how **nPZero** is enabling next-generation sensors, with a spotlight on** energy harvesting applications**.

### Our Showcased Demonstrators Included:

- **TDK Collaboration**: Featuring CeraCharge® solid-state batteries and InvenSense Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensors. This self-powered demonstrator showcased the synergy between energy harvesting, -storage, sensing, and Nanopower’s ultra-low-power control.
- **Epishine Integration**: Using **indoor photovoltaic (PV) cells**, this setup demonstrated how ambient light can drive small, always-on devices—ideal for building automation and retail monitoring.
- **Ligna Energy**: A sleek integration with **super-thin, sustainable ultracapacitors**.

These demos were more than just eye-catching—they were proof points for how the **nPZero technology unlocks new possibilities in real-world deployments**.

## What We Learned

Across both fairs, three trends stood out:

1. **Energy harvesting is gaining serious traction**, and developers need robust solutions that actually work in the field.
2. **Always-on sensing with minimal power draw** is now a design requirement—not a “nice to have.”
3. The ecosystem is ready—and hungry—for **components that reduce total system cost and complexity** by cutting power at the source.

## What’s Next

We’re now focused on:

- Delivering **evaluation kits** to early adopters
- Supporting customer pilots and system integration
- Scaling partnerships for broader market adoption

**A big thank you** to everyone who visited our booths, attended the live demos, and helped make both events a huge success. We’re excited for what’s ahead—and proud to be working alongside you to build a smarter, more power-efficient future.
