Exploring the Future of Ultra-Low Power Tech at GITEX Global 2025

Written by André Grytbakk | Oct 24, 2025 9:29:42 AM

Last week, VP of Sales Anthony Carter and Jan Frode Bergsø (Global Business Development Manager) were on the ground at one of the world’s largest technology showcases: GITEX Global.

This year’s event proved to be a powerful meeting point for innovators across IoT, AI, robotics, and smart infrastructure, and served as an exciting opportunity for us to engage with a broad mix of OEMs, system integrators, and electronic design houses pushing the boundaries of connected device applications.

🔍 What We Discovered

The show floor was buzzing with breakthrough applications, and low power was a hot topic in nearly every conversation. Some clear trends emerged:

  • Asset tracking solutions for medical, logistics, transportation (rail, fleet), and infrastructure are rapidly evolving,  and they’re hungry for longer battery life and maintenance-free operation.

  • AI-powered vision systems and edge detection cameras are becoming more compact and energy-aware.

  • A strong presence of robotics manufacturers, with use cases ranging from industrial automation to autonomous mobility.

  • Energy harvesting solutions are gaining traction, aligning well with our nPZero architecture.

✨ Reflections on Dubai & the GITEX Experience

GITEX never disappoints. The energy, the scale, the innovation — all set against the architectural spectacle of Dubai — make this a standout destination for global tech dialogue. We left inspired, energized, and with a notebook full of new opportunities to explore.
