Nanopower Semiconductor unveils its latest creation – a modular Evaluation Board (EVB) to speed up...
Introducing the nPZero EVB in collaboration with Svep Design Center at Embedded World
During Embedded World in Nuremberg, Germany 9-11 April, Nanopower will reveal the EVB that is designed in collaboration with Svep Design Center. This modular kit will demonstrate the capabilities of the nPZero power-saving IC.
Svep Design Center and Nanopower Semiconductor have a long cooperation in developing state-of-the-art subthreshold power management designs.
To better help customers of Nanopower to integrate the nPZero power saving IC into their designs Svep has developed an evaluation board that customers can use to kick start their product designs.
Svep Design Center also provides design support for the nPZero power management IC.

"Low power consumption and long battery lifetime is an important environmental aspect of products designs, today millions of batteries are replaced to early due to legacy solutions in power management. We are proud of the cooperation with Nanopower to establish a new level of battery lifetime performance."
Key features
-
Nanopower's EVB (Evaluation Board): This is a modular kit designed to demonstrate the capabilities of the nPZero power-saving IC.
-
nPZero Power-saving IC: The star of the show, represents a technological breakthrough by focusing on reducing power consumption by utilizing subthreshold IC design.
-
Speeding up the Testing Phase: The nPZero EVB is designed to speed up the testing phase of IoT projects. This implies that the power-saving capabilities of the IC can be easily integrated into IoT applications, reducing development time.
-
Use of Low-power Sensors and Microcontroller: The EVB is designed to work in conjunction with commonly used low-power sensors and microcontrollers via connectors.
Modularity
The nPZero evaluation kit consists of four (4) boards, making it easy to test with different hosts and sensors. To get you started all four boards are included in the kit.
